Nifty Closes Above 24,000; Domestic Buying Offsets FII Selling

Indian equities closed higher on Wednesday, with the Nifty 50 ending above the 24,000 mark despite continued FII selling in the cash market. Gains in banking, realty and FMCG stocks supported the index, while weakness in IT stocks limited broader gains.
